MZ Holdings Limited Trading as CoolMarket.com Layaway Agreement
The CoolMarket Layaway Agreement provides a flexible way for customers to pay for products in the
CoolMarket retail store or online. This Agreement allows customers to make installments based on their
affordability. CoolMarket will retain all products until payments are made in full or at the expiry of the layaway
period, whichever comes first. A customer may choose to complete all payments ahead of the layaway period.
Customers are required to collect products immediately on completion of all payments. CoolMarket accepts
responsibility for any damage to products, due to negligence by its employees or customers, during the
layaway period. Products damaged because of Acts of God are excepted.
Eligibility
All products except groceries and other perishables valued above $10,000 will be eligible for layaway.
Products valued at up to $25,000 plus GCT must be paid off within two (2) months.
Products valued above $25,000 plus GCT and up to $50,000 plus GCT must be paid off within three (3) months.
Products valued above $50,000 plus GCT must be paid off within four (4) months.
Fees & Payments
To utilize CoolMarket’s Layaway Agreement, customers will be required to make an initial payment
equal to the value of the product including GCT divided by the installation period.
2. Customers will be required to pay a non-refundable administrative fee of $1500 to offset costs
associated with managing the layaway account.
3. Customers will be required to make payments based on the agreed payment schedule. If the agreed
date as passed, there will be a 5 day grace period in which to make the payment and thereafter a 5%
late fee will be charged.
4. CoolMarket reserves the right to apply a $500 storage fee per day for products that have been fully
paid but uncollected.
5. CoolMarket reserves the right to cancel the Layaway Agreement and return layaway products to stock
if the payment schedule is broken by the customer without communication or valid reason. All
payments, less 15% of the cost of the product and administrative fee plus GCT, will be refunded.
Cancellation by Customer, Returns or Exchanges
Customers may choose to cancel the Layaway Agreement at any time. However, CoolMarket will retain 20% of the cost of the product plus the non-refundable administrative fee. All products are subject to our standard return and exchange policy found on Coolmarket.com.
By choosing to utilize our Layaway Agreement, customers agree to be bound by the rules outlined in this document. This Agreement is subject to change at any time.
