Jamaican Dandelion Leaf Tea

Jamaican Dandelion (Senna occidentalis, formerly Cassia Occidentalis) has a longstanding reputation as a diuretic herb (removes excess water from the body.) It has also been used in African traditional medicine for the treatment of hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Lab studies in rats show it reduces blood glucose and bad cholesterols, and increases good cholesterols (PMID: 28122565, PMID: 20927247). These results support the traditional use of this plant to treat hypertension and diabetes. However, clinical trials have not yet confirmed full benefits in human beings.

The exceptional quality of our Dandelion Leaf Tea comes from a scientific understanding of plant physiology and biochemistry. Harvested in the appropriate season when medicinal and active compounds are at their highest levels. Hand harvested and dried in an environment that helps retain their health properties while maximizing its authentic flavor. Long-term use may cause liver toxicity. We recommend only short-term use (once daily for up to 2 weeks).

This product is endorsed by world-leading Jamaican-Australian Biochemist, Immunologist, Aging and Inflammation expert Dr. Clovis Palmer.

We recommend consultation with your doctor before using this product.
