Terms and Conditions BTS 2024

1. Name of the Promotion: COOL Winnings Back to School Promotion

2. Duration of the Promotion: The promotion will commence on July 17, 2024, and will run until September 8th, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

3. Mechanics/Rules:
a. The promotion is open to customers who make purchases on Coolmarket.com or in the retail store within the specified period. Purchases of $12,000 or more excluding GCT will automatically qualify for an entry
b. Entrants must be legal residents of Jamaica and registered CoolMarket customers. Entrants should be at least 18 years old to enter.

c. Employees of CoolMarket and their family members are also allowed to be a part of the Promotion.
d. Customers are allowed 1 entry per purchase transaction.
e. Entries will be automatically generated once a customer spends $12,000 or more excluding GCT. The customer’s Full Name, Email Address, Customer ID, and telephone number will be automatically generated and entered into the promotion. 
f. There will be 8 weekly prizes of $10,000 and one laptop valued at $161,000 along with a Sprayground bag with stationery valued at $25,000. The laptop and the Sprayground bag will be awarded at the end of the promotion period.
g. Winners will be selected online through a random name picker once qualified via https://wheelofnames.com/.

4. Method of Selecting Winners:
Winners will be selected electronically via www.wheelofnames.com. All qualifying purchases within the period will be uploaded, and winners will be selected from either E-Commerce or Store sales.

5. Date of Selection:

o   Weekly cash prize winners will be selected every Monday starting July 22, 2024, for 8 weeks.

o   The grand prize will be selected on September 16th, 2024, at 4 pm.

6. Method of Notifying Winners:
Winners will be contacted via email and mobile up to 5 attempts, using the contact information provided when they made their qualifying purchase. The calls will be made once per week for three weeks. An email will be sent once per week for two weeks giving the winner 5 days post emails to accept the prize. If a winner does not claim their prize within that time, it will be retained by CoolMarket. 

7.  Promotional Material:
The initial advertisement will be published electronically via http://www.coolmarket.com/bts-2024 on July 17th, 2024, and will be accessible throughout the promotion.
“Authorized under section 58(3) of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act.”
Social media platforms Instagram and Facebook will also be used for advertising. The handles are @CoolMarketJA for both platforms. Mockup of advertisement materials will be attached.

8. Detail of Prizes:

o   One laptop valued at $161,000 plus GCT and a Sprayground bag and stationery valued at $25,000

o   8 weekly prizes of $10,000 totaling $80,000.

9. Claiming Period:
Winners will be given a period of 30 days to claim their prizes from the date of confirmed contact. A valid government ID (Passport, Driver’s License, National ID) is required to claim prizes, confirming they are 18 years old or older and reside in Jamaica. Failure to claim the prize within 30 days and/or provide a government ID will result in the prize being retained by CoolMarket. Prizes cannot be transferred and non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.

11. Draw Dates: The weekly draw dates will be every Monday at 11 am, starting from July 22, 2024, for 8 weeks.  The grand draw will be held on September 17th, 2024, at 4 pm. No backup winners will be selected for the weekly or the grand prize. Both the weekly and the grand draw will be conducted at the CoolMarket Retail Store- 2 Graham Street, St.Ann via the wheelofnames website. 

Grand Draw: This will include entries from July 17th 2024 to September 8th 2024. These entries include winners and non-winners of weekly prizes.
