Wah Gwaan!
We are a small business, borne from the pandemic and work from home mandates which made us all reevaluate life. Since our home had become our primary working space, we wanted somethings to make it feel more "homey". We went on the hunt for candles to help do just that, but none of the candles we came across were the right vibe. We wanted candles that reminded us of the things we missed - the beach - family get togethers - cook food and pastries from Devon House - scenic walks on Mountain Spring Trail and Palisadoes and that nice potato pudding from Priory - you know the one - YES!
So in our hunt, we decided to try our own hand at making our own candles, where we knew what our noses liked. Watched a few videos - yeah, made a few orders - yeah, and went straight down the rabbit hole of candlemaking. We love them - our families love them - we know you will love them too! And then we just thought "Hey, what about everyone else that doesn't have the chance to come home and enjoy the things we miss?" And we realised, we were being mean, so here we are, sharing the experience with you, hoping to give you a little piece of home fi nice up yuh place!
Our candles aren't just for scent, it is a home decor piece, it is not just a candle that is going to be bringing a scent, it is a eye piece, something you will want to openly display on your countertop, on your kitchen and that's the purpose for each candle we make. A pleasing item to a room in your home.
