Queen Excluder - Plastic, for Beekeeping

The intent of the queen excluder is to limit the queen's access to the honey supers. If the queen lays eggs in the honey supers and a brood develops in them it is difficult to harvest clean honey. It makes honey extraction management less difficult. Keeps the hive organized and making honey harvesting easier. 
Queen excluders are used with some queen breeding methods, especially as a way to allow queen cells to be built in the same hive with an existing queen, or as a way to house multiple queens in the same hive.

• IDEAL SIZING: The spaces in the grid are perfectly spaced large enough to allow the smaller worker bees through the holes, but small enough to exclude the queen and keeping her from entering the honey boxes
• MULTIPLE USES: Besides keeping queens from entering honey boxes, queen excluders can be used for queen rearing, cut down into custom sizes to fit top bar hives, 5 frame nucleus hives
